Day 6: Mon 2 Sep - Dublin
Jane had to be at the CCD early so decided that we all needed to be there. So it was breakfast at 0700 h. I then decided that I was not going to go to the CCD then but later on in the day – around morning teatime. Went back upstairs and had a little snooze. By the time we left for the CCD, I was feeling a lot better. We had lunch, did a bit of networking and returned to the hotel to change for the Welcome reception being held at the Guinness Storehouse. We arrived on time, however, those coming from the CCD had arrived early and gotten all the good seats and drunk all the free drinks. Some people even had to pay for their first one! I was fortunate enough to get one free glass of wine. We stayed for about an hour and a half and then went back to the hotel.
